HT Deutschland: Successful with the “Haitian Mars Series”
HT Deutschland announces significant sales and marketing success with regard to the innovative, energy saving and well priced “Haitian Mars Series”. The long-established company Mayer GmbH in Laichingen is producing the types MA 1,200 and MA 2,000 for a short time in addition to various molded parts for the automobile industry, amongst other things a supporting foot cover for the roof mounted luggage rack of the new Audi Q5 as well. The molded part, the production of which will be shown at the Fakuma trade show, is made of PP6 and runs with a 48 second cycle time.
Company owner and Executive Director Vladimir Mayer sums up the basic reasoning of his investment decision for this series of hybrid, servomotor driven machines from the global market leader: “The decision to stock up our purely “European production hall” with Haitian machines was economic nature. Ultimately, the advantageous purchase price and the proven energy savings as well as the processing using European components with the appropriate support services downstream have convinced us.”
The Swabian company is a system partner of well-known companies from the automotive and electronic industry. Audi, Saab, Opel and VW amongst others are the reference customers. Injection molding with a total of 34 employees is the biggest mainstay of the operation alongside the engineering and tooling departments with a total of 6 employees. 800 tons of material is put through there annually on approximately 300 days and between 200 and 6,000 kN clamping force in 3-shift operation on 27 machines.
In informal talks at the meeting in Laichingen Mayer added: “In the future we will also look more closely at the “Zhafir Venus Series” for the production of our precision parts, which consequently would be our first fully-electric machine in house. This is worth considering in any case since this machine concept with a clearly superior scope of delivery and excellent performance data costs almost exactly as much as a European hydraulic machine.”
