Zhafir Plastics Machinery invested at its German location
Roofing ceremony for the new production hall in Ebermannsdorf, Oberpfalz
On June 18th the injection molding machine manufacturer Zhafir Plastics Machinery held the topping out ceremony for the 4,300 square meter production hall after a construction period of just 3 months. Starting at the end of 2009 the all-electric machines “Zhafir Venus Series” will be assembled there at the Ebermannsdorf location for the European market on a state-of-the-art production line. Since 2007, 12 engineers from China and Germany have already been developing and constructing the next generation of an all electric high speed machine, which will offer revolutionary solutions to the high-tech customers. The “Zhafir Mercury Series” is already in the field test phase and the intention is to start the production in Germany and to release it at the K 2010 for sale world.
Haitian International Holdings has defied the global recession with an investment in the construction of the production and development site in Ebermannsdorf totaling 10 million euros. At the occasion of the celebrations Chairman of the Board Jian Jianming pointed out the strategic significance: “Zhafir is an extremely important technology project for Haitian International. In Ebermannsdorf we are combining Haitian’s decades of production experience with the highly qualified Zhafir development team and we currently hold a major competitive advantage with the manufacturing at the heart of the European plastics industry, which will pay off for our customers.”
Zhafir’s customers are premium users, who place very high demands on the machines with regard to performance, diversification and energy efficiency. The fact that the price range of the all-electric Zhafir machines is also on a par with the hydraulic machines of the European competition is now already guaranteeing the company a respectable market share in this segment under the leadership of Professor Helmar Franz „The sister plant in Ningbo/China has already sold 130 machines of the “Venus” type in over 20 countries and the order books are full.“
In his capacity as a member of the Board of Haitian International, Franz mentioned that Zhafir complements the growth strategy of the global market leader Haitian within the framework of its Multiple-Brand-Models and that the group is optimally positioned for the future with its comprehensive and unique supply spectrum as well as with the production locations in China and in Germany.
